Schleuniger Helps 911 Circuits Live Up to Their Slogan of “Wiring Made Easy!"
07/01/2016
"It does the work of 3 to 4 people and can produce in a matter of hours what otherwise would have taken a couple days. Plus, the wires come out perfectly!”

Wiring Made Easy is more than a slogan for 911 Circuits. It’s a passion! That passion for “easy to use” goes beyond the company’s products and extends to the manufacturing equipment it uses.

911 Circuits, located in Salem, OR, engineers, designs and builds wiring harness and control solutions for the Emergency Vehicle Fleet and Municipal Fleet community. The company launched in 2012 and right from the beginning, President, John Moore and his partner Ben Fedorenko knew high quality, easy to use, automated equipment would be the key to 911 Circuits’ success. “Having owned a wiring harness company previously, where we used single function machines and crimping stations, we understood the limitations and high manpower required with that method of building harnesses,” says Moore. With past experiences in mind, Moore and Fedorenko had a CrimpCenter 36 S fully automated cut, strip, terminate machine from Schleuniger on order before even hiring their first employee!

911 Circuits discovered Schleuniger at the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo in Milwaukee, WI. According to Moore, “We were ready to order from another manufacturer when we discovered Schleuniger. Schleuniger was exceptionally responsive and had numerous staff members involved in the process very quickly. The pre-sales service, the engineering of the equipment and the simplicity of service, if needed, sold us.”

Along with the CrimpCenter 36 S, 911 Circuits also purchased an InkJet printer to automate their printing process and with the two machines, the company’s production outputs are unmatched! Moore adds, “The CrimpCenter 36 S will pay for itself in a short period. It does the work of 3 to 4 people and can produce in a matter of hours what otherwise would have taken a couple days. Plus, the wires come out perfectly!” Because of this, 911 Circuits is able to manage a smaller, more highly trained staff.

Best of all, the CrimpCenter 36 S fits right in with 911 Circuits’ passion for Wiring Made Easy. “Working with the CrimpCenter 36 S has been a breeze!”
