Pull Force Testing Device
The PullTester 20 is an economical motorized benchtop device for measuring pull forces of crimp connections as well as ultrasonic metal welding connections.
The measured values are indispensible parameters for quality control and assurance such as the IEC 60 352-2 standard. This standard requires measuring with a consistent pulling rate at the maximum measured force (destructive test).
Measure Highest Accuracy
Hand actuated or pneumatic pull test devices can give inconsistent data depending on the operator pull rate. The IEC standard specifies that a pull tester measures with a consistent pull rate. The Schleuniger PullTester 20 is equipped with a controlled speed motor, ensuring consistent pull rates throughout the measuring range which means repeatable and accurate data.
All PullTester 20 models offer selectable pull speeds: PullTester 20-25 with 25 or 50 mm/min (0.98" or 1.97"/min) and PullTester 20-50 as well as PullTester 20-TCP with 50 or 100 mm/min (1.97" or 3.94"/min). Pull forces can be measured in pounds, Newton or kilopounds.
The standard 12 position terminal holder accommodates a wide variety of terminals to suit most applications, however, a variety of terminal holders are available upon request.
Analysis & Network Integration
Curve analysis and statistics can be done via the optional WinCrimp PC software. With WinCrimp you can also set up an entire crimp quality assurance network, e.g. by networking the PullTester 20 with a StripCrimp 750 CFM and a CHME crimp height measuring device.
The PullTester 20 is specially designed for use with all Schleuniger fully automatic swivel arm crimping machines of the CrimpCenter series. Curve analysis and statistics are then done directly in the CrimpCenter machine software EASY.
