POF Surface Treatment Machine
The POF Finisher 20 treats the end surfaces of Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) prior to connectorization. The result of this treatment are smooth and level end surfaces providing for minimum dB-losses, eliminating the need for hot plating or other post termination processes.
The POF Finisher 20 uses a unique diamond milling process for an extremely smooth surface finish. Various programmable parameters allow adjustment to material-specific characteristics.
