The Schleuniger Group, based in Thun, Switzerland, a worldwide leading supplier of wire processing machines, has acquired PAWO Systems AG, with headquarters in Unterägeri, Switzerland, as of July 1st, 2008. PAWO has a staff of about 100 employees with annual sales of 25 Mio CHF. For PAWO, this step means an early succession for the current ownership.

AutoCoiling System (ACS) for CrimpCenter series

The new AutoCoiling System (ACS) for coiling, binding and gathering of long cables is a modular station, which can be integrated with or retrofitted to CrimpCenter fully automatic crimping machines instead of a depository band. This requires minimal assembly effort.

With integration of the MINIC II Compacting Station from Schunk on Schleuniger CrimpCenter fully automatic crimping machines, stripped wire ends from 0.22 – 6 mm² can be compacted in an ultrasonic welding process.

KM-CFK (Resistance Welding)
With the KM-CFK Compacting Station from Strunk it is now possible to compact stranded wires from 0.5 – 6 mm² (AWG 20 – AWG 10) by resistance welding on Schleuniger CrimpCenter fully automatic crimping machines.
