Programmable Twisting Machine
The WireTwist 500 is a programmable benchtop twisting machine for twisting multiple single wires from 0.25 mm² - 2.5 mm² (23 - 13 AWG). It accepts stripped or crimped wires either with or without seals. Twisting single wires gives the twisted wires a higher stability for easier wire routing and improved protection against electromagnetic interference.
The WireTwist 500 consists of an electrically driven power unit and a compact holding unit. It twists wires of approximately 330 mm (13") - 2'000 mm (79"). Longer wires up to 5'000 mm (197") can also be twisted using a wire guide between the units. The final twisted wire length depends on the wire diameter and the number of required twists.
Change-over to different wire lengths and wire diameters is done easily and quickly. Custom adapters (e.g. for wires with housing) or other special applications can be made according to customer specifications.
Programming and operation are accomplished on the clearly structured key pad and display. Order parameters such as revolution speed and number or revolutions (forward and reverse) can be saved to and loaded from the internal memory. This allows processing of different applications with high repeatability and consistent quality without compromising flexibility. For batch and total pieces a counter is integrated.
