Thermal Transfer Marking
The Coditherm is an electronic (digital) thermal transfer printer for marking wires and cables with plastic insulation. The unique marking process is characterized by an unmatched range of printing possibilities and simple handling.
Exploiting an Eidos exclusive patent, based on the use of a double ribbon, a positive image can be created electronically on a thermal transfer ribbon. In a second stage, the image is then transferred "hot" to the wire or cable to be marked.

When using the Schleuniger Cayman wire processing software, you will find yourself facing virtually unlimited programming possibilites. The Coditherm in combination with the professional Cayman software permits extremely versatile and userfriendly high quality marking of wires and cables with texts and even variable complex logos.
High-End Processing Line
Fully integrated marking in a processing line allows personalization of wires and cables during processing - thus avoiding the need for a large stock of preprinted material. In combination with a Schleuniger PowerStrip 9500, MegaStrip 9600 or CompactStrip 9200 cut & strip machine, the Coditherm thermal transfer marker is integral part of a high-end processing line.
