Stripping & Crimping Machine
for Loose Piece Terminals
The StripCrimp LPC is a semi-automatic benchtop machine for processing turned loose piece terminals (closed barrel) with a cross section range from 0.14 – 2.5 mm² (AWG 26 – 14). Key component is a highly flexible feeding module that first sorts and separates terminals with an integrated drum / track system and subsequently brings them into the correct crimping position.
To ensure highest accuracy and repeatability, manually inserted wires are held in position by an integrated gripper after the sensor has been triggered. Thanks to its compact design, the StripCrimp LPC is ideally suited for processing the inner conductors of multi-conductor cables – even with short break-out lengths below 25 mm (0.98").

Operating the StripCrimp LPC is simple with logical menu structures and an ergonomically designed PAWOPILOT handheld device. Thanks to its excellent accessibility from all sides (safety cover lifts up completely), change-overs to other terminals using change-over kits, exchange of the feeding module, or blade changes are done quickly and comfortably. Modular change-over kits reduce machine downtime to a minimum and allow flexible processing of different terminal sizes and geometries (male / female).
The StripCrimp LPC can be equipped with three exchangeable feeding modules for different terminal feeding types:

Next to common MIL-standard crimp applicators, Schleuniger offers an innovative alternative: the 4 pin – 8-point crimp of the PAWO PrismaCrimper with integrated step-less crimp depth adjustment and the possibility of integrating crimp force monitoring.
With its integrated stripping unit, standard zero cut function, programmable processing sequences and exchangeable feeding modules for all terminal feeding types, the StripCrimp LPC is used in semi-automatic production environments where flexibility and high precision according to MIL standard are essential.
