Jacket Slitting Machine
The JacketStrip 8300 axially and radially slits the insulation of out-of-round and multi-conductor cables up to 25 mm (1'') outer diameter (O.D.) without any damage to the inner conductors or shielding.
Unique Concept
Two adjustable rotating blades precisely follow the contour of the cable to ensure precise radial cutting of the cable jacket. Aditionally, the part of the jacket that is to be removed can be slit lengthwise while extracting the cable. This patented blade system even allows the processing of out-of-round and twisted pair cables without damaging the core material.
Automatic Inline Cable Processing
In combination with the Schleuniger PreFeeder 2500 prefeeding machine (1) and the OmniCut 3950 automatic wire & cable cutting machine (3), the JacketStrip 8300 (2) turns into a fully automatic processing system. The JacketStrip 8300 enables defined slitting of the cable jackets, while the OmniCut 3950 cuts the cables to length. Two window slits can be prepared in addition to slitting the jacket ends. An optional length encoder guarantees adherence to length tolerances.
