The demand for fully automatic, flexible and reliable solutions in cable processing is continuously increasing. The Schleuniger TransferModule 6000 provides a cost efficient combination of reliable semi- and fully automatic systems. It consists of a basic module that integrates single bench top machines.

The TransferModule 6000 is a machine concept that provides for synchronized transport of cables with specially designed carriers. The cables are gently transported throughout the complete processing system without any additional movement to the cable taking place. The result is a consistently high level of quality and processes. The same basic machine can handle coaxial, sensor, airbag, ABS, FFC, POF and other multi-core cable applications. The combination possibilities are almost unlimited.

The central element of the TransferModule 6000 is its extendable level of automation. The basic unit consists of the cable transport, cable loading and cable unloading stations. The cable loading station takes the pre-processed cable from a standard machine such as a fully automatic cut & strip machine PowerStrip 9500. The remaining space of this modular concept allows for additional machines or stations to be added according to customer-specific processing needs.

It is also possible to substitute the automatic cable loading station with an optional station for manual loading of cables / wires that have been pre-assembled and then further process them automatically. For space optimization, the complete unit is very compact whithout compromising accessibility to processing stations.

Operation is very easy. It can be done directly by using the monitor or via PC with monitor, mouse and keyboard. Each of the processing modules is equipped with its own control unit where the processing parameters can be entered. A hierarchical SPS control coordinates rge functional process and guarantees a constant processing quality. As an option, the user can network his production data using the PPS system.
