Sealing Station
The SLU 3000 sealing station is perfectly suited for applying weather seals on wire ends with the fully automatic cut strip terminate machines of the CrimpCenter series. The compact unit with its proven technology is specifically designed for high-speed processing of almost all seal types.
Short cycle times, optional seal-check and full integration with the CrimpCenter machine software EASY via TCP/IP make the SLU 3000 the perfect solution for even the highest production requirements.
Processing of Hard Jacket Seals
To process hard jacket seals with unmatched output rates, the PSU 60 post stripping unit is optionally available. With this unique concept, an additional stripping unit is placed between sealing station and crimping station for optimum process flow. Instead of swivelling back to the cutter head for removal of pre-stripped wire ends, the PSU 60 removes the wire insulation without requiring redundant swivel arm movements
Additional features are:
- only one feeder mandrel needed
- simplified draw-in cone / slip-off tool combination
- easy to maintain (small number of moving parts)
- fast and simple change-over without any tools
- integrated activation of axial movement towards wires
