With the 3 new models of the UniCrimp family with press forces up to 25 tons, cable cross sections up to 50 mm² can be processed. The required crimping tools for processing large cross sections are also available.

The new benchtop crimping machines – the UniCrimp 500 A, UniCrimp 500 T, UniCrimp 1100 T and UniCrimp 2500 T – open new possibilities for crimping large cables. From crimping large banded terminals (open or closed barrel type) to complex loose-piece terminals, the models of the UniCrimp series allow for processing an unmatched variety of applications.

All UniCrimp machines are programmable and operation is simple. The same userfriendly control panel is featured on all machines, so that cross-machine operator training times are reduced to virtually zero. For quality assurance purposes, crimp force monitoring can be integrated. A proven combined crank/knee lever drive guarantees short cycle times (= fast closing of the crimp applicator) while providing for an ideal forming process during the actual crimping of terminals.

		UniCrimp 2500 T Powerful benchtop crimping press for special applications for large wires up to 50 mm² (0 AWG). with 25 tons of press forces.

Adequate Crimping Tools Available

Together with the UniCrimp series, Schleuniger has also extended the range of crimp applicators accordingly. The sturdy construction of these special applicators with pneumatic transport feed guarantees highest accuracy and low maintenance costs. To allow for flexible production with minimum change-over times, all applicators feature a quick-change solution that doesn’t require the use of any additional tools.
