Crimp Applicator

The HeavyCrimper crimp applicators are specially designed for processing larger cable cross sections ranging from 16 - 50 mm² (5 - 1/0 AWG) in combination with the UniCrimp series crimping machines. They can be used on fully automatic crimping machines as well as on benchtop crimping presses.

These pneumatic crimp applicators accept rear feed-banded and side feed-banded terminals. The HeavyCrimper XL is specially suited for processing loose-piece terminals.

HeavyCrimper: Three Versions Available

HeavyCrimper PR Crimp applicator (pneumatic, rear feed)

HeavyCrimper PR (with UniCrimp 500/1100)
Pneumatic crimp applicator for rear feed type terminals. Processes conductor cross sections up to 35 mm² (2 AWG).

HeavyCrimper PS Crimp applicator (pneumatic, side feed)

HeavyCrimper PS (with UniCrimp 500/1100)
Pneumatic crimp applicator for side feed type terminals. Processes conductor cross sections up to 35 mm² (2 AWG).

HeavyCrimper XL Crimp applicator

HeavyCrimper XL (with UniCrimp 2500)
Crimp applicator for loose-piece crimping applications. Processes conductor cross sections up to 50 mm² (1/0 AWG).

The rugged construction guarantees highest processing accuracy and low maintenance costs. Crimping height can be adjusted in increments of 0.02 mm (0.0008"). For minimum change-over times and flexible production, the HeavyCrimper crimp applicators feature a quick-change system.
